Trap House Complete

FCGC has finished up the trap houses and is ready for it's new Trap Season.

The Club had it's first trap shooting event over the weekend. The trap houses are equipped with the "like new" refurbished equipment. Other new features are the heaters, drop down doors, storage area, stairways, concrete slabs, tables and a new coat of paint.  All part of the "freshen up" that was performed over the past few months.  Stop buy and take a look during the next Shoot.  All are welcome to join in on the fun.

Trap Update

On Thursday, October 13 the refurbished shooting trap machines were calibrated and set by C.A.C. Associates.  The trap is now up and ready for Saturday, October 22 opening shoot.  Trap houses are in the midst of an upgrade and pictures will be available as soon as work has completed.

Due to overnight rainfall, golf carts will not be permitted on the course for morning play. The course will be reevaluated in the late morning and a decision will be made regarding afternoon carts.

Golf Shop Update

Members,

This is our end of the year Golf Shop Update; tee times are no longer required and golf course is available.  Further updates will be posted at the golf shop entrance, as changes occur with aerification and car path renovation.  Below is our initial announcement:


The Drill and Fill procedure will progress today sequentially in the following order: 1, 4, 2, 3, 5, 6, 17, and 7. Temporary Greens will be in use as work progresses.

In addition, Cart Path Improvements will progress near #15 Green.  At the moment golf carts will not be permitted to cross the bridge from #15 Fairway toward the Green.  All traffic will need to progress past the Chipping Green, across the wooden bridge toward the Driving Range Tee, and then follow the existing cart path past #16 Tees and toward #15 Green.  Signage will be in place on the Golf Course assisting players with these directions.  The bridge allowing normal traffic on #15 will be reopened as soon as possible.

Due to overnight rainfall, golf carts will not be permitted on the golf course for morning play.  The conditions will be re-evaluated late morning and a decision will be made regarding afternoon cart usage.
